Berger Paints Q3 net up 44 per cent at Rs 65 crore - NDTV

Kolkata: Berger Paints today reported 44 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 65 crore for the quarter ended December. The city-based company had a standalone net profit of Rs 45 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. Net sales and other operating income for the quarter was Rs 822 crore as against Rs 703 crore in the corresponding quarter FY'12, an increase of 17 per cent year-on-year, Berger Paints said in a statement. On a consolidated basis, Berger Paints India Ltd's net profit for the quarter was 57 per cent more at Rs 77 crore, as against Rs 49 crore, the statement said. On a consolidated basis, earnings before depreciation, interest and tax (EBDIT) for the quarter stood at Rs 117 crore, a 38 per cent rise from Rs 85 crore earlier. via Business - Google News
