| Reuters | Updated On: July 08, 2013 11:28 (IST) Bharti Airtel Ltd, India's leading telecom services provider, said it has repaid Rs 6,796 crore of debt from the proceeds of a 5 per cent stake sale to Qatar Foundation Endowment. Debt reduction will result in an improvement in the capital structure and balance sheet leverage for the company, it added. The Bharti stock surged up to 4 per cent on the news, and was trading with gains of 2.11 per cent at Rs 301.80 at 11.34 am on the BSE.
