BT Online Bureau Mumbai Last Updated: July 4, 2013 | 00:00 IST The Indian rupee snapped its three-session falling streak and strengthened by 19 paise to 60.02 against the US dollar in early trade at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market on Thursday. Dealers said besides increased dollar selling by exporters, a higher opening in domestic equity market and yen's gain against the American currency overseas helped the domestic currency to recover. The rupee had lost 55 paise to close at 60.21 on Wednesday due to fresh capital outflows and sustained dollar demand from importers. Meanwhile, the BSE Sensex was trading 202.95 points, or 1.06 per cent, higher at 19,380.71.
