Stock markets closed on account of Gandhi Jayanti - Business Today

The stock markets (BSE and NSE), forex, money markets and all commodity futures markets remained closed on Wednesday on account of 'Gandhi Jayanti.

All the wholesale commodity markets, including bullion and metal, are also closed for the public holiday.

The BSE Sensex rebounded from 3-week lows on Tuesday to end over 137 points higher, as investors cheered lower-than-expected June quarter current account deficit (CAD) number and encouraging September sales for automobile firms.
