Shares in Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare and United Breweries gained after their inclusion in National Stock Exchange's derivatives market, dealers said.
Futures and options contracts on the companies' shares would be available from October 3 onwards, NSE said in a circular on Friday.
"The market lot of the above mentioned securities shall be informed to members on October 1, 2013 through a separate circular," NSE added.
Glenmark shares traded up 1.5 per cent at Rs 530.95, GSK Consumer gained 3.3 per cent to Rs 4,377.55, while United Breweries gained 1 per cent to Rs 882 as of 10.55 a.m. The Sensex traded 1 per cent lower.
