GMR Infrastructure has sold its entire 40 per cent stake in the Istanbul Airport to Malaysian airport for about 225 million euros. The company's shares gained 2.6 per cent on Tuesday after the announcement.
Malaysia Airport Holdings at present holds 20 per cent stake in this project while Turkey-based Limak Construction holds another 40 per cent stake. GMR Infrastructure had entered this project during May 2008.
