Shares of Transformers and Rectifiers Ltd jumped over 19 per cent to hit intraday high of Rs 199.70 on Monday after the company said that it had secured an order of Rs 440 crore.
In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange the Transformers and Rectifiers said that it has secured an export order totaling Rs 400 crore. With this order, the total order book of the company stands at Rs 800 crore.
Reacting to this news, the shares of Transformers and Rectifiers came in high demand. At 12:20 p.m., the shares of the company were trading 15.65 per cent higher at Rs 194. As many as 15,000 shares changed hands on the BSE compared to average of 2,416 shares traded daily in the past two weeks.
