Reuters | Updated On: July 04, 2013 12:06 (IST) The BSE Sensex and the Nifty gained around 1 per cent on Thursday. A recovery from two sessions of falls was sparked by value-buying and on higher regional shares. Stocks boosting Sensex included ITC, which rose 2.8 per cent, RIL and Infosys - both of which gained nearly 2 per cent. The BSE FMCG index rose 1.9 per cent. However, traders were worried as foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have sold index futures worth Rs 860 crore in the previous two sessions, as per exchange and regulatory data. Foreign investors also sold cash shares worth Rs 705 crore on Wednesday.
